In this era of rapid social and technological change, every distraction demands our immediate attention demanding our immediate attention, and we can lose our focus on the “big picture” when it comes to our personal and professional satisfaction.

 

I help clients drill down to the things that really matter, build empowering personal and professional narratives, create action plans to achieve meaningful goals, and work on cultivating the values, practices, and skills that create lasting impact.

Coaching Options

My coaching focuses on client defined goals.

We begin with a personal and/or professional assessment. Together, we will explore what you’re looking to achieve and then construct a plan to put it into practice. Along the way I help you evaluate your progress in a non-judgmental way to make sure you’re doing what you’ve set out to do.

Here are some of the areas of focus for values-based coaching (click on the links for details)

  • Personal/professional values clarification and mission building.  Successful organizations know their mission, understand the values that animate it, and have a strategy for its implementation. This is no less true of individuals. What’s your purpose? What values drive that purpose? Do you have an action plan for achieving it? Do you have a story that helps you decide if you’re being true to your mission?

  • Purpose check-in. What motivates you personally or professionally? Are you satisfied with the answer?

  • Leadership building and branding. What’s your leadership style? Do you think strategically? How do others perceive your leadership style? 

  • Projects. Do you have a major project or presentation on the horizon that could use a fresh pair of eyes and a trusted perspective? 

  • Professional enrichment planning. Making time for our own learning and enrichment is key to our success, but often gets buried at the end of what seems like a never-ending to-do list. Let’s make an action plan to make sure we attend to the important things as well!

Mentorship includes many of the features of coaching while being broader in scope and over a longer time horizon. Mentoring helps clients develop a range of skills, explore topics more deeply, and cultivate long-term enrichment practices.

For Organizations

We can scale up coaching and mentoring for organizations. Options include:

  • Purpose check-in. What motivates your organization? Are you satisfied with the answer?
